Lough Arrow Cottage

This restored 100 year old stone cottage is not just a place to come, it's a place to return to. Its idyllic location offers peace and relaxation. It's 6 miles north of Boyle and approx 15 miles from Sligo. Lough Arrow is one of Ireland’s renowned brown trout lakes. Guests have their own private jetty at the end of the garden, fishing is free and our boat is available to hire at extra cost. Carrowkeel's Megalithic tombs, older than Newgrange, are just across the lake and wonderful to explore.

It is private, cozy and compact and is a wonderful stand alone space with separate entry. It is a 3 Minute drive from the local beach and a 10 minute walk to the village of Kilcar. It accommodates two people and this space can also be used as an add on to Greenhills Cottage.

It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.

The cottage sits up on the slope above our smaller Mickey's Cottage (also sleeps 4) with huge sea and beach views. Spend your days fishing or crabbing, or reading in your private cove, then home to the turf fire and fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves.
