Located 25 minutes from the airport and nestled in the hills of Maracas valley, this cabin is just a 7 minute drive from the trail head of the highest waterfall in Trinidad at 300 feet and 3 minute drive from the hummingbird sanctuary. Also located nearby is the Ortinola estate where you can make your own chocolate. Please feel free to ask about airport transfers and additional tours of the island that we offer. Our home is very family oriented, we do not allow events or large gatherings.

The Mellier features two private self-contained units that can be rented individually or together, making it perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, or small groups. Luna is a cozy one-bedroom unit, with a kitchenette ideal for short stays. Deep into Trinidad's northern range on our little agricultural set up is the Jungle Loft. Exactly on the trailhead for the three main oilbird caves in Aripo - and the island's largest cave system, there are easy walks along the road into the rainforest. Due to the length and varying conditions of the road we’re best suited to guests looking to explore the area or looking for a retreat or if you just really love the place!

We are situated at the base of El Tucuche, fabled in Amerindian lore as a sacred mountain. The studio is large and comfortable with good views and perfectly located for guests seeking to explore the island. The apartment also has a projector system with Netflix.
