Outstanding Views of the beautiful Tutukaka Coast

Situated on the Tutukaka Coast, we have outstanding views of one of the worlds best diving sites - the Poor Knights Islands. We are a few minutes from the Tutukaka Marina and the outstanding Surf at Sandy Bay. Our two bedroom self contained unit is located down a private road and offers a quiet retreat for a weekend away or a great base to explore the beautiful beaches, dive the Knights or visit the nearby vineyard, golf course and Marina . Basic continental breakfast is available for guests.

Tui Bush Cabin

Take a short drive (approx 3kms) up the valley from Ngunguru to Tui Bush Cabin. This is where you can relax amongst the native bush, and listen to the tui's chatter from dawn till dusk. Our beautiful small wooden cabin comprises of a fitted kitchen with a 4 burner gas hob, convection microwave, toaster, jug, refrigerator and sink. A drop leaf table and chair. A double bed with sheets and duvet. Separate bathroom with flush toilet, basin and shower. Outside decking with table and chairs.

Marina Vista Cabin - Quiet Secluded Beach

This is a small cabin suitable for short stays, the bedroom is small but it is compensated by the location, deck, bathroom & beach which are great. Sit on kayaks & stand-up paddle are available free of charge. Tidy comfortable cabin just meters from a lovely private beach & walking distance to cafes, fishing club & pizzeria. No road noise, safe swimming, kayaking or trips to the Poor Knights Islands. BASIC cooking only; BBQ, Fridge, plates, cups, glasses, etc. Great eateries near by.

Adorable 1 bedroom oasis with private spa & sauna

This beach haven is a light-filled, private paradise oasis with views of majestic mount Manaia. Located in beautiful Taurikura bay in the Whangarei heads. This one bedroom apartment is the perfect spot for a getaway. You’ll enjoy the large, outdoor area and deck, complete with a warm outdoor shower, your very own private spa pool and sauna. Bikes & kayaks for you to explore the area. Located 5 min from the beach and world renowned hiking trails, beaches, fishing, surfing - the list goes on.

Sandy Bay Farmstay

***LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION *** At our farm we have a very clean, tidy & comfortable self contained cabin for couples with a rustic vibe, includes king bed & attached outside bathroom with Kitchenette. If there are more than 2pp book our cute kingfisher caravan set up for 2pp (1 king single and 1 sml single). Ages 6yrs+ is preferred at our property as it is not completely fenced off and there are horses and some driveway vehicles about. Epic horse trail riding & surfing on your doorstep!

You'll enjoy a comfortable queen-size bed, a lovely seating area (inside + outside), bright bathroom and a small pantry. We have fast wifi, but no television. Located 1 minute from Little Munro Bay, where kayaks and boats can be launched. World renowned hiking trails are on your doorstep like Mt Manaia, Mt. Aubrey and the Te Araroa Trail.

There is an outdoor shower and drying area for dive gear/wetsuits with plenty of room for those wanting to bring their surfboards or kayaks.

Woolley’s Bay offers an idyllic beach stay with a range of activities including diving , kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, paddle boarding, swimming, cycling, walk/running and horse trekking Tutukaka is a 15 minute drive to restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and the marina where fishing and dive charters to the Poor Knights Island are available. Nearby Coastal walks provide access to some of the most picturesque and deserted beaches in Northland.

Kukupa Cottage

Kukupa cottage is a three year old cottage on the top of a hill overlooking Kowharewa bay. It is on a piece of lovely land that has another house next door but is very private. It is lovely and warm with everything you need for a winter getaway. In the summer it gets all day sun that needs to be blocked but there are blinds along the front which you may need some of the time. There is a lovely wooden deck at the front also, with a roll out awning.

Coastal Country Loft

This light, bright and spacious loft is just what the doctor ordered for a lovely getaway to the country whilst being close to the coast. Our studio offers beautiful views of the Kiripaka valley, quality furnishings and the quiet comforts of a country lifestyle. Located in the back hills of the Tutukaka Coast - within 5 min of Ngunguru or 15 min of Sandy Bay surf beach, you can enjoy being on the coast without worrying about the crowds.
