The dome contains a gorgeous bedroom, lounging space, heater, & adjacent entranceway. Nearby is your own outdoor composting toilet and luxurious shower. This is a quintessential basic kiwi bach, absolute waterfront, stunning views, a hidden treasure with bush and beach walks, amazing fishing and diving. Our bach comes complete with everything needed for a beach holiday, weekend retreat or romantic getaway. An easy 10 minute stroll to local cafe or ten minute drive to Parua Bay cafes, 4 square and gas station and the infamous Parua Bay Tavern. Access to the Bach is down a short but moderately steep bush track(see photo).

Kukupa Cottage

Kukupa cottage is a three year old cottage on the top of a hill overlooking Kowharewa bay. It is on a piece of lovely land that has another house next door but is very private. It is lovely and warm with everything you need for a winter getaway. In the summer it gets all day sun that needs to be blocked but there are blinds along the front which you may need some of the time. There is a lovely wooden deck at the front also, with a roll out awning.

Thistle Do Beach Bach

Thistle Do Beach Bach is located meters off State Highway 1 at Ruakaka. The open plan lounge and kitchen has large windows and doors that allow maximum light and airflow, while the doors open onto a sun drenched deck with gas BBQ and outdoor setting. Inside the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including fridge/freezer, microwave, cooktop, electric frypan and dishwasher.
