Welcome to our peaceful cabin retreat. A cherished family home built in 1990 by Charles’ parents and recently lovingly renovated for a cozy, nature filled getaway. Perched in the hinterland with sweeping views of the Gold Coast, the cabin invites you to unwind by the fireplace, sip your morning coffee on the deck, or curl up in the loft with a good book. Thoughtfully stocked and styled, it’s the perfect escape for couples or solo travellers seeking tranquility, comfort, and connection to nature.

Seaside Garden Studio

Private, comfortable studio set in an established tranquil garden. Plenty of bird song and beautiful flowers. Short stroll to the pristine and expansive beach where you’ll see Byron lighthouse in the distance without a single other building in sight! The popular Mrs Birdy cafe just around the corner for great coffee and food, yoga at the South Golden Beach Hall at the end of the street. The weekly local farmers market, a short bike ride away, for live music, organic produce and great brekky.

ECO CABIN WITH VIEWS & CREEK

Very private self contained cabin with fully equipped kitchen, full sized fridge, stainless steel gas oven and burners, beautiful private outdoor bathroom complete with claw foot bath and state of the art composting toilet is overlooking the rainforest. Solar power and hot water (gas booster for overcast periods) and a great pot belly stove for the cooler periods. Views to Sphinx Rock from the beautiful big verandah. Drive only 10 mins to the Border Ranges National Park and 20 mins to Nimbin.

Eco Studio Cabin in Main Arm Jindi Mibunnya sits on Bundjalung Country; six acres of native forest in recovery. It's an ongoing labour of love as we welcome the re-emerging natural landscape from what was once a banana plantation. Our house and guest cabin are perched on a north-facing slope. We created the studio space with a warm and organic aesthetic, with little touches to make you feel welcome and looked-after. The expansive outlook breathes with a deep and abiding peacefulness.

Waterfall Lodge
