Countryside location, 100m from village main street with local pubs, shops and restaurants. 15-20 mins from Newcastle, Bus stop 50m away, Train station 10mins walk. Recently refurbished the Old Stables at The Brow is a spacious stone built 2 bedroom (1 twin, 1 kingsize) flat with sofa bed, travelcot & offstreet parking. Multipurpose set up for those travelling with kids, enjoying the countryside, walks, golf, cycling or visiting the city. We live next door so can help with most arrangements.

Situated in woodland and fields is a small c18th farm with a beautiful light open-plan Cottage and spectacular views of National Trust Gibside and the Column to Liberty. Wild swimming, cycling and endless walks lie just beyond its gate. One of five dwellings, the Cottage has a private entrance and exclusive use of a small south-facing garden. Night skies are spectacular and often punctuated with calling owls and the rustle of hedgehogs & badgers. Bird spotting and fishing is another delight.

This house is stroll away from the River Tyne, a lovely 15-20min walk into the City Centre & 4mins by car/bus. Direct bus just at the end of the street. 4mins from Utility arena for any gig goers! 8mins to Theatre All bed sheets and towels are 100% cotton & clean for every guest. Quirky home- meets traditional & modern. Breakfast includes: free range eggs on toast, cereal/porridge and tea and coffee. The Bothy

A former gardener’s cottage, part of the walled garden with it’s original glasshouses and orangery. Windows look across the walled garden and from the kitchen a door opens to a terrace and bbq area overlooking the orchard towards the river. Cosy living room with log-burning stove, sofas and dining table for 4, bedroom with antique brass bedstead and exposed beams. Central heating, a modern kitchen and contemporary bathroom with bathtub and walk-in shower makes the Bothy cosy for all seasons.
