The vistas look over indigenous forest all the way to Haenertsburg. These rare pockets of indigenous forest are frequented by rare species such as Samango monkey, duiker and bushbuck. Birdwatchers are in for a treat as the gardens are visited by Knysna touracos, Double-collared Sunbird, and forest birds.
