Amazing rural retreat, 2 miles to Jurassic Coast

Delightful open plan, light-filled flat with large Velux windows. Picturesque views to the south to Cannington Viaduct, and behind onto a sloped wooded area frequented by deer, foxes, badgers and rabbits. Numerous countryside/costal walks on the doorstep. On the Jurassic Coast, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the Devon / Dorset border. 2 miles from Lyme Regis beach and ½ a mile from a pub and shop in Uplyme. 1 mile to River Cottage HQ Outdoor sitting area, space to store bikes, etc.

The Pod at Springwater is a unique, handcrafted property set up amongst the trees. It has two bedrooms: one double, with a large window and a view into the trees and the smaller, twin room, with offset bunk beds. The living room has a smart tv. There's also a well equipped bathroom with a great shower. Downstairs is accessed through a trapdoor in the floor to the kitchen or the fun way via the tube slide. Double doors open onto the backyard, which has an outdoor fireplace, pizza oven and bbq.

The views are out of this world and all viewable from the large glass doors so you can stay tucked up in bed or on the sofa in front of the fire, with great wifi, free access to our beautiful heate pool & sauna (located in the pool house), beautiful walks both from the carriage or a short drive to the coast path, pub lunches, sunsets, fairy lights and a romantic outdoor bath

Come and enjoy glorious sea and country views. We are in a quiet corner of Lyme Regis, a scenic mile’s walk from the beach. The cabin has parking and is a 5 minute drive to beach. It is an easy walk down with sea views then an uphill walk back. Lyme is hilly with glorious vistas. It’s a good spot for walkers - near the coastal path plus near a footpath that takes you either inland into Uplyme’s country walks or via the picturesque River Lim for a meandering longer walk to Lyme.

Spacious Victorian house sleeps 6 near Lyme Regis

Recently refurbished to provide accommodation for 6, this tranquil, spacious Victorian house has picturesque countryside views across Uplyme village and an easy river walk down to Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast. There is one double en-suite, one king size en-suite and a family room with separate bathroom. There is off-road parking available for two cars and a large garden where we are often gardening. We are relaxed hosts, live next door and are here to help as required.

Fern Studio

A peaceful apartment located a 15 -20 minute walk from Lyme Regis Seafront and within minutes of many beautiful walks including the famous Jurassic Coast. This self contained apartment is attached to our main house but you have completely private access with your own en-suite bathroom, front door and access to a balcony area with views across the River Lym valley. Fern Studio has its own Kitchen with kettle, toaster, hob and fridge.

Peaceful cottage in Uplyme with far reaching views

Kilnside was rebuilt from an existing outbuilding into a luxury, self-catering cottage with work finishing at the beginning of 2020. The space now boasts a stunning open-plan, vaulted kitchen and living area with large bi-fold doors onto a private patio. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed with ensuite shower room. Both the bedroom and living room have a stunning view down the valley towards the coast at Lyme Regis.

We are also situated less than 2 minutes from River Cottage HQ. Perfect if you are attending one of their courses or going for dinner.

Cosy up for a winter break in a beautifully converted old army truck with stunning views of Lyme Bay. In the winter months you have the whole field to yourselves, so it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. There are beautiful walks in the woods up behind my holding and a lovely riverside walk to the beach, which is perfect now the holiday crowds have gone. The truck is well insulated and has a wood burning stove.
