Luxurious Shepherds hut

Relax in the beautiful Sussex countryside. The hut has a hot water shower 2 sinks and a loo and a double bed. Inside the hut you have speakers to listen to your favourite tunes or relax with a book, a game of cards, Jenga or scrabble. Wake up and have a cup of tea or coffee with a view of either the fields or sheep that may be in the vicinity. Bring wellies as the fields are still wet. If you like dogs then mine will most likely come and visit (extremely friendly) No cooking facilities

Jacks Cottage -

A beautiful oak framed building with great views of the south downs. Accommodation comprising of a comfortable lounge with TV and wifi and log burner. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, oven and microwave. One double bedroom downstairs with en suite shower room. Upstairs there is a mezzanine with two single beds and a sitting area above the lounge area with a bathroom with free standing bath. The outside space is a south facing patio with table and chairs and a BBQ is available.

An easy ride from London, Lewes and Brighton, it's ideal for quick escapes, romantic breaks, poetic inspiration or combining city/culture with rural retreating. Great pubs, walks, the Downs, Glyndebourne, Charleston, Firle, Farley Farm all approx. 10 mins. Designed as a creative workspace, there's no TV but good WiFi: no streetlights, lots of stars.

Caburn Cabin is in Firle Village in the South Downs national park. Our spacious timber cabin sleeps up to four people. It has a warm rustic charm whilst being fully equipped with modern facilities. There is a rear private deck with seating. Ideal for romantic escapes or active holidays. Enjoy the outdoors by foot & bike direct from the cabin. The local pub & village shop are just 10 minutes walk. Perfect for Glyndebourne, Charleston & Firle weddings or explore nearby towns of Lewes or Brighton.

The Cart Lodge a cosy rural hideaway

Situated in a secluded part of our 16th century farm, this detached, south facing cart barn has been converted to a very high standard. In an ideal location overlooking a large duck pond and with distant views to the South Downs. It is a great base for walking the Wealdway or cycling the Cuckoo Trail. Places to explore include Lewes and Eastbourne, 9 miles. Glyndebourne 6 miles. An excellent pub and restaurant is within a ten minute walk along country footpaths. The village shop 2 miles.

Starnash Farmhouse Accommodation

Starnash is a cosy farmhouse on 3 acres of land; the east side is self-contained for 8 guests. A shepherd’s hut in the garden can be hired separately (when available) for 2 more people, so we can accommodate up to 10 guests in total. If you’re looking to get away and be just off the beaten track then Starnash is the place for you. Here you are surrounded by nature & birdsong and within a few miles of beaches, woodland walks, the South Downs AONB, quirky villages and vibrant towns.

The Little Cabin by the Lake

Escape the Christmas chaos and unwind in the cosy comfort of our beautiful cabin, festively decorated in December. Snuggle up by the log burner whilst looking out at our peaceful lake, surrounded by ancient woodland. A private couples’ retreat for relaxing, unwinding, and sharing magical moments in nature. If you can pull yourselves away from your woodland hideaway, the lovely village of East Hoathly isn’t far, with a cozy café, village shop, and friendly local pub to explore.

‘The Water Snug’ Floating Lake Cabin

Escape the Christmas chaos and unwind in the cozy comfort of our houseboat, festively decorated in December. A romantic retreat for two floating on our peaceful one-acre lake in East Hoathly. Relax by the cosy log burner, cook in the fully fitted kitchen, and wake in a lake-view bedroom where nature’s magic surrounds you. Step outside to gentle ripples and wildlife, or visit East Hoathly with its village pub, café, and shop just minutes away when you can pull yourselves away.

Beautiful barn on the South Downs Way

Beautiful barn, perfect for walkers, also great as a comfortable and spacious base for exploring the local countryside. Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

Take it easy and get back to nature at this unique and tranquil getaway in a beautifully crafted, rustic cabin nestled in ancient woodland among the stunning countryside of East Sussex. A minutes drive from the timeless village of East Hoathly. The Dragons Nest and relaxing garden patio area is screened off with living forest walls so you can relax and enjoy your privacy. The main house is situated nearby (the side/back of the house is roughly 8 meters away

Coes Farm offers 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room which is resident in our Micro-Winery! We planted our 5 acre vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.

Although situated in the depths of the countryside, we are only a 10 minute drive from the market town of Hailsham which has a good selection of shops and supermarkets (Waitrose, Tesco, Asda).
