Welcome to Knockmore's Lakeside cabins, number 1 and 2 ! Enjoy private 2 bedroom cabin living alongside the calming waters of the Bras d'Or Lakes. Built in 2019, Knockmore's Lakeside 1 offers clean, modern appeal in an airy, open concept layout. So popular was Lakeside 1, in 2024, we openeded Lakeside 2, almost identical and about 100 feet away from its sister cabin, it, too, offers a wonderful covered porch overlooking the Bra d'Or lakes. Reservations are currently available for 2+ nights.

Located in the heart of Cape Breton to explore the attractions, only 20 minutes to Baddeck and to Margaree, and 1.5 km off the Cabot Trail. A place where history meets nature in comfort! Coffee/tea in rooms as well as welcome breakfast items to be enjoyed at your leisure. The Worn Doorstep Guest Suite in heart of village!

Light and airy guest suite attached to main level of our family home. Includes one queen bed, full bath with shower, and kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee facilities, toaster and sink. Shared barbeque located on lower level. Small private patio off the back of the suite and parking in front. There are no shared spaces in the suite. After booking, check-in instructions will be sent via the inbox of the Airbnb app. Please read the instructions carefully prior to your arrival.

Folklore Cottage - modern studio with forest vibes

This wee cottage is decorated for those witchy vibes! It has one queen bed, breakfast table and kitchenette with micro, fridge, toaster, counter top burner and sink. All dishes, linens, kitchen supplies and shampoo/soap is provided. Kitchenette for simple meal prep. Please bring your own coffee. Full bathroom w/ walk-in shower. Private BBQ and yard with screen tent. Cottage driveway is steep but well maintained; no bikes, please. Muted traffic noise may be noticeable at times. No dogs.

Mine is a great spot to chill out and enjoy nature. Swimming, kayaks & SUPs. Baddeck, where it all begins and ends...Get looped on the Cabot Trail!

Woodsy Cabin on the Bras d'Or

Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.

Watch the sun rise over the highlands through the 13ft window while you sip coffee from the open-concept living area. After a day of exploring, unwind on the panoramic patio as the sun sets over the ocean. Cedar Peak is fully loaded with a full kitchen, home theatre, and many other amenities. I built this home to be a secluded, barrier-free chalet for the ultimate Cape Breton experience.

Swallow Bank Cottage #3 on the Margaree River

This one bedroom cottage is located in Margaree Centre. Our four, full housekeeping cottages sit along the Margaree River, just minutes from the Cabot Trail. Cottage 3 has been recently renovated inside and out. New bathroom, upgraded kitchen, and a queen bed with a luxury Logan & Cove mattress. The cottage also has a sofa bed in the living area for extra sleeping space. Check in is anytime after 3pm. Check out is 11am.

There’s no electricity, so prepare to unplug!

It's a cozy, rustic space with a composting toilet, solar shower, woodstove heat, and lots of charm — best suited to guests looking for a simple, countryside stay.
