Spacious, quiet and central Bed and Breakfast

We welcome you to our light and spacious en-suite studio room which has everything but the kitchen sink! Private access through French doors into a courtyard garden where you can enjoy a coffee. You are self contained. Our home offers you a quiet/ comfortable retreat from which to explore all the amazing things our region has. Close to Great Taste Cycle Trail and Saxton Stadium and sports grounds. Central for exploring the whole region. We are a 12 minute (aprox) drive to Nelson City Central.

Wendels Acre with panoramic views

Wendels Acre is a rural property, our house and grounds is an acre of garden & 4 acres of land, running sheep. The studio has sea views and it's own private garden. The location is close to Mapua Village, Rabbit Island, Motueka, Great taste cycle trail (Nelson to Kaiteriteri), Kaiteriteri Mountain bike park, & Abel Tasman National Park. We have enhanced the plantings to encourage native birds which is a quiet, relaxing & tranquil area. We are a retired couple looking forward to hosting you.

Beaconview

We have a completely separate unit below for our guests with its own entrance . Our flexible bedding arrangements means we can accommodate a number of combinations. The super king in the bedroom can be used or two single beds if preferred. The fold away made up queen bed in the main area allows more space during the day. We are open to meeting the bed requirements you may wish to have 2 single beds in one room and a queen bed in the other. What a wonderful view you will have when you wake up.

Brook In Nelson - Self Contained

'Brook In Nelson' is a modern, spacious, attached self contained unit (floor area 31 square metres). Private with free wifi, TV, air conditioning, comfortable sleepyhead queen bed, lockbox entry, washing machine, cooking area, & free easy access off-street parking, main entry. In close proximity to popular mountain bike/trail running tracks, & minutes walk to the Brook Waimãrama Sanctuary, largest Sanctuary for endangered plants creatures in the South Island, including our native 𝐊𝐢𝐰𝐢.

Central Nelson: Sunny Private Studio with a view

The best of both worlds! A quiet 1/2 acre sanctuary with extensive views out to sea but only a short distance to town. Completely separate lockable access to a generously sized, sunny studio apartment, with undercover parking next to your entrance. A mountain bike park on the back doorstep or a scenic walk into town. The walk back up is steep and requires moderate fitness. Otherwise sit back and drink in the view or wander in the garden. Breakfast of home made muesli/yoghurt and toast.

Pheasant Lodge

Pheasant Lodge provides an elegant luxe feeling and fully functional oasis for the guest(s) looking for an comfortable place to unwind after exploring all that the great Tasman region has to offer, it’s a place that feels peaceful, welcoming and has all the necessary creature comforts. A 7 minute drive to Mapua. We are on a lifestyle block nestled amongst farms and an orchards, a delight to relax with a glass of wine and a book, unwind and listen to the bird song and gardens.

Cabin in unique garden with mountain-to-sea views

Relax in this tranquil getaway. The cabin is a cosy hideaway with armchairs, dining, fridge and microwave. Up the ladder is a mezzanine for sleeping. The second cabin contains the shower and toilet. It spills out onto a landscaped garden with a tree-lined patio looking over Fifeshire Rock and ranges. It's one of the most beautiful spots in Nelson. Steep climb from the road, up steps and boardwalks. We suggest a pack, not a suitcase.
