With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

Wendels Acre with panoramic views

Wendels Acre is a rural property, our house and grounds is an acre of garden & 4 acres of land, running sheep. The studio has sea views and it's own private garden. The location is close to Mapua Village, Rabbit Island, Motueka, Great taste cycle trail (Nelson to Kaiteriteri), Kaiteriteri Mountain bike park, & Abel Tasman National Park. We have enhanced the plantings to encourage native birds which is a quiet, relaxing & tranquil area. We are a retired couple looking forward to hosting you.

Harakeke Hill, near Motueka

Modern off-grid accommodation. Our power comes from panels powered by the sun. We have a back-up generator which runs if the batteries have had their power used. Wi-fi + the internet are easily accessible. We have solar heated hot water and we run all the usual household appliances. Two bedrooms: each with a king bed which can be split into two singles. *Please state which bed arrangement you will be needing* EV or PLUG IN HYBRIDS: it is not possible to charge these vehicles overnight.

Karaka Studio on Manuka Island Nelson/Tasman

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

Pheasant Lodge

Pheasant Lodge - an elegant luxury feel, fully functional oasis for the guest(s) looking for an comfortable place to unwind after exploring all that the great Tasman region has to offer, it’s a place that feels relaxing, peaceful, welcoming and has all the necessary creature comforts. 7 minute drive to Mapua. We are on a lifestyle block nestled amongst farms and an orchards, a delight to relax with a glass of wine and a book to unwind and listen to the bird song amongst the gardens.

Bay View Getaway

Quiet private accommodation with fabulous views of the Tasman Bay. 3 km to Mapua village, 20 minutes to Motueka or Richmond & 35 minutes to Nelson. Central location for those who want to walk in Abel Tasman, cycle the Great Taste Trail & experience local wineries. Mapua village has a small grocery store, fruit & veg shop, fish & chips, wine bar, brewery, coffee house & restaurants. The accommodation has a bar fridge, microwave, jug & Nespresso coffee machine, but no cooking facilities.

The House: on a peninsular, close to the wharf, this haven is close to restaurants, cafes, galleries, fish and chips too. Central to Abel Tasman National Park cycle trails, wineries, art galleries.

Applegirth - Peaceful Retreat near Mapua

A relaxing space to retreat to after a day of exploring, Applegirth offers an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area; a separate bedroom with Single bed; a mezzanine level with Queen sized bed and a bathroom with shower over bath, and washer. A Sofa Bed in the lounge can also be utilised upon request. In the lounge is a music station , and selection of games. Outside on the verandah is a covered BBQ and seating area where you can relax and listen to the birdsong.

Neudorf Cottage

Enjoy a peaceful stay at Neudorf Cottage. Set back down and long gravel driveway off the main road, the cottage has two bedrooms, a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. A cosy reading nook with a unique pot belly fireplace. Neudorf cottage is a two story building with two bedrooms upstairs and a downstairs bathroom. The stairs were hand built, a little steep so ideally are not suitable for unsupervised toddlers or people with reduced mobility.

Karaka at The Apple Pickers' Cottages

Karaka is a 2 bedroom cottage with decks and a verandah with wonderful views of the Waimea Inlet and mountains beyond. The outdoor bath, hammock, weber barbecue, brazier and outdoor furniture set in a beautiful natural landscape are perfect for a relaxing holiday. The sunroom/second bedroom is an extension of the living area. It converts to the second bedroom with 2 divans that can be made up as either a king size bed or 2 single beds. Children 12+
