Amazing fisherman's paradise. Burt lake access across the road & boat launch is just 1/2 mile away. Lots of parking. Lots of space inside to get ready for a day on the lake and for prepping family meals. This place is ideal for humble fishing families looking for a warm bed, hot shower, good meal, and a great time in the woods! We are off the beaten path, 15 minutes to town. Unfortunately, there is NO TV or WiFi, and cell service can be spotty. Perfect place to turn off electronics & get away!

Only walking paths and natural vegetation separate you from 540ft of rocky beach and waves hitting the shore. This cozy four season cottage has 2 romantic gas stoves, 2 bedrooms (queen bed, full bed), a living room (plush futon, 2 wingbacks, dinette set), a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. Charming, year around cottage. Nothing beats being in the middle of our pristine lake or sitting on the deck watching nature in all her glory! And when you're ready for something a little bigger, Lake Michigan is a short drive; along with world famous Legs Inn (closes mid Oct) as are the "big" cities of Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinaw City! Walking distance to Moosejaw restaurant when you don't want to go anywhere! Incredible fall color change. Be prepared to not want to leave!

** Bookings now available 6 months in advance ** Morel Cottage is a cozy 650sq ft, completely renovated, a-frame. It is perfect for singles, couples or a small group. The cottage features an open concept with a spiral staircase to the loft bedroom. There is a log queen bed upstairs and a roll away, queen, raised air mattress available for additional sleeping in the living space. Standard amenities are provided with full laundry on site.
