This cottage is two blocks from St. Charles Avenue, a major family-friendly parade route during Mardi Gras and a main thoroughfare to get around the city. It's close to many restaurants and bars. A small grocery store is a five-minute walk away. The St. Charles Ave. streetcar will take you to the French Quarter and to the uptown area where you can visit Loyola or Tulane Universities and the can't miss Audubon Park (and zoo). Cost is $1.25 to ride. From there, jump on a bus to get to the other areas of the city. Free street parking is available. Bike Share station close by. Additional information about the home will be provided to ensure a comfortable and easy stay. Coffee and bottled water available.

The "mother in law" apartment you are renting is in a lovely uptown neighborhood 4 blocks from the St Charles Street Car , 1.5 blocks from Magazine St and Magazine St Bus. I live in the front part of the home and I've lived here for my whole life. This apartment is great for travelers to New Orleans and is in one of the most desired parts of the city, Uptown New Orleans.
