The building is nature friendly , ground floor open masonry with air conditioner, first floor room non ac which is plastered wall which facilitates abundant natural daylight and cool breeze. A Malnad arecanut, coconut and pepper orchard, right beside basavanahole - a tributary of Varada river. Home-made breakfast, lunch and dinner on request. Seasonally inspired lunch and dinner includes Malnad cuisines like kesuvina sabzi, basale soppina saaru, thambli of varieties, to mention a few. Much of the ingredients used are farm-produce.
