This cozy house is situated in the old town of Kvívík. Perfect for those who are seeking an authentic and tranquil stay in one of the most charming villages in the Faroe Islands. The house is called "Hjá Ginnu" and was built in 1864. Recent renovations have respected the original architecture, but introduced modern amenities for a pleasant stay. You'll overlook the church, hear the burble of the river, be a stone's throw away from the ocean and one of the oldest viking settlement in the Faroe.

Nyd det simple liv i denne fredelige og centralt beliggende bolig. Eivinds hus ligger tæt på lufthavnen (10 min) og har gratis parkering. Det er et typisk ældre færøsk hus (1921) med stue, køkken bad og entre i stueetagen. I stuen er der en sovesofa. På 1. Sal er der plads til 4 sovende gæster (dobbeltseng og udtræksseng). I kælderen er der vaskemaskine og tørretumbler. Terrasse med grill. På grunden løber en lille bæk. 35 min. Kørsel til Thorshavn. De øvrige øer kan nås indenfor 1,5 time.

Historical house 30 ft from sea

The house is 200 years old and the construction material is from a ship wreck in the village of Saksun. While the original materials are contained the house has been given a modern touch. The heating is based on sustainable energy-source and there is heating in all the floors. The house is located 10 min. drive from the airport and 30 min drive to the capital, Tórshavn, by car. The mid-floor accounts 120 square meters and the loft measures the same. The ocean can be heard at any time.

Dejlig lejlighed med stort haveområde og smuk udsigt. Lejligheden ligger centralt med kun 10 min gåafstand fra lufthavnen og færgen til Mykines og Tindhølm og 150 meter til indkøb. Bilen kan parkeres ved det sorte lille hus nede ved vejen og den offentlige transport (bus) stopper kun 100 meter fra lejligheden.
