Thompson Pass Cabin (No cleaning fee)

This rustic and cozy cabin is located approx 19 miles north of Valdez on the Richardson Highway at the base of Thompson Pass. The accommodation offers world class access to “The Snow Capitol of Alaska”. Allwheel/4x4 is mandatory for winter access. The roads/driveway are maintained but I would still recommend 4x4/Allwheel. In summer (may-oct) the access is a gravel road that any car/truck can drive. The location is one of the highlights of this listing as well as the privacy.

Little House • Two Bedroom Rural Cabin

Little House is a hand-built two-bedroom log cabin on our 320-acre working Alaskan homestead. Both bedrooms are upstairs with queen beds. The master has a bay window and a jack and jill bathroom that opens to the hallway. The cabin has hot water, electricity, internet, and all essentials. The kitchenette has a two-burner stovetop and basic cookware. There is a compact dining table, a three-person sofa, and a recliner. No TV or city amenities, just mountain views and privacy.

Our unique log cabin offers comfortable bedrooms and plenty of living space for a group of 4. Close to the road, yet out of sight in it's own quiet wood, it is also ideally located 2 minutes away from a convenience store/gas station/laundromat. This is a perfect location for a several day home base to explore the Copper Basin, Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Valdez. With a fully equipped kitchen, a kid corner and good reads, you will feel right at home.

North Shore Cabin, Ellamar Alaska

Remote 3 season cabin with indoor shower and toilet located in the northeast corner of Prince Williams Sound. Cabin is only accessible by boat or plane. Hiking, fishing, hunting available with permits. Commercial flights available Mon, Wed, & Fri out of Merrill Field in Anchorage. Shuttle to cabin can be arranged. Charter options from Valdez are numerous and can be found with quick internet search. You may also contact us for recommendations.
