Hello, we're so glad you're here. River+Rock Cottage is a charming year-round destination in the heart of Valle Crucis. Not only are you a mile or 2 down the road from restaurants and local attractions, but just 15 minutes to Boone, Banner Elk, & Blowing Rock. Homey and relaxing, but close to the fun. River+Rock is locally owned and personally cared for by our family. We strive to personalize your stay, leaving special touches and treats to create lasting memories. Time for some R&R at R+R.

Enjoy amazing views from our updated home. Insurance oks 1-2 small non-LGD dogs to 40# total w/prior approval. No cats, sorry. Walk or Hike the trails, see the Falls, Kayak, drive the Parkway, ski, skate, snowboard. Explore Banner Elk, Sugar, Grandfather & Beech Mtn communities, visit Blowing Rock, Boone & Valle Crucis. Visit White Crow Wedding Venue, area Vineyards in Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain & Linville Falls, Galleries, Kettell Brewery, Apple Hill Alpaca farm & Lees McRae College.

This great location allows you to easily get to groceries and shopping with the main strip located only 4 miles away. An easy 6 mile drive takes you to the center of the town of Boone, and Blowing Rock is easily accessible at 3 miles away.

Lone Tree Mountain House- Vilas, NC

Cozy mountain house in a quiet neighborhood just 10 minutes from downtown Boone and ASU. Enjoy the beautiful western sunsets of the mountains while relaxing in the porch swing. Home has fully equipped kitchen. Living room has cable tv, WiFi and fireplace. Property has wonderful shade trees to kick back under and enjoy the surrounding farm land and cattle. In the fall the shade trees are some of the most vibrant shades of orange and yellow in the High Country! We look forward to hosting you!

The house can accommodate 8 guests with a max of 6 adults in 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The 4th bedroom is a “kids room” with twin beds. There’s a main level master suite with private bath. A modern kitchen and open living space is inviting for friends and family to gather. The porch view of the valley and the cows is everyone's favorite!

Laurel Creek Retreat 5 min to Boone

Close to Boone and Blowing Rock our home is a cabin with a modern feel. There is a peaceful creek in our backyard, hot tub and fire pit. ASU is a 5 min. drive. I want my guest to be comfortable and satisfied with their stay. I will respond to you within an hour and do my best to insure you have a wonderful stay at Laurel Creek! We are on a gravel road which may have pot holes so if this is a potential discomfort our home is not the right fit for you!

Precious Cabin

This "precious " cabin is located off of Hwy. 105 in Valle Crucis. Approximately 2 miles from the historic Mast General Store and The Ham Shoppe. Tucked in the serene and private neighborhood of Bluestone Wild, this cabin is sure to offer the relaxing vacation spot you are looking for. We are conveniently located a short distance from Hawksnest tubing and zip line and 15 minutes from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and 45 minutes from Beech Mountain.
