Private wood fired cedar sauna, 3 outdoor tubs, outdoor shower, star gazing, large covered deck with vintage propane fireplace. Hike 10 minutes down a private fern and mushroom filled trail that leads to a secluded rock beach perfect for whale watching, exploring and campfires. Where the forest meets the ocean.

Welcome to your lakefront oasis in Youbou, British Columbia. Designed as a place for friends and family to gather, the Youbou Lakehouse is a sanctuary where you can unwind and connect with the natural world. Enjoy private lake access, a stunning view, 2 outdoor fire pits, paddle boards, a gorgeous sauna, salt water hot tub, and a massive 85” TV with surround sound. Have fun, but no parties, and please choose another spot if you are unwilling to be considerate of our wonderful neighbors.

J&F placed a big emphasis on outdoor entertaining with a massive covered deck, the picnic table patio, & access to a cedar barrel sauna! Whether coming from close or far, you deserve it!

Watch the real life nature show with; eagles to hummingbirds, otters, seals, sea lions, salmon to orcas. Beach comb and see; anemones, crabs, sea cucumbers, sea snails, mussels, oysters. Find shells and driftwood to remember your stay. Share this educational experience with the whole family. The cute separate suite allows for sharing with privacy.

Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.
