Lovely lake house that sits next to federal hunting ground. This is the perfect place to hunt, fish, bird watch or just play on the lake. Boat dock and lake are a short 10 minute walk down the hill (about a football field walk, wear walking shoes). Kitchen is fully furnished with spices and all. There are 2 outdoor fire pit areas. Great home away from home. An hour west of KS City and 40 mins south of Topeka. Phones only work with WIFI assist. Great place to unplug and enjoy a slice of heaven

The Atomic Cowboy Suite

Fantastic one bedroom apartment with full bath and kitchen located Downtown Ottawa Kansas on the Prairie Spirit Trail. There is only one bed in the apartment but plenty of space for sleeping bags. Just let us know how many are coming. We are in the process of redecorating this little mid century gem into a 50’s western theme. Please bear with us for the mix mash of styles while we finish up. Lots of Antique Shopping within walking distance. Walk to dinner and enjoy this victorian city.

If you'd like to unplug & spend time on a Kansas Farm, this place is for you! The original 100 year old farmhouse has been modernized to feel cozy, yet still has its original charm. There is plenty of land to enjoy a walk, play games, star gaze, or start the firepit in our quaint tree grove. Although located *RIGHT ON* 75 hwy, the trees offer some seclusion from the highway. Very convenient for visiting the local lakes, traveling through, or just wanting to get out of the city.

Heartland Ranch is a short distance south of Topeka, We offer a unique quiet/private country stay. The lodging is a cowboy bunkhouse with "down-home comfort" casual country setting. We invite anyone who is "cowboy curious". This is not a "Disney" experience... frankly the farm "stay" isn't for everyone! Occupancy limited to online reservation. This spacious cabin sits on a small farm in Osage City, Kansas. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay: loft bedroom with a queen bed, additional queen inflatable bed (17” high) downstairs and a twin bed downstairs. The cabin also has an open kitchen, bathroom with shower, wood-burning stove, surround-sound stereo and a TV (Netflix and YouTube available). You’ll have the entire place to yourselves. Be mindful that we often have cattle in the surrounding pasture.

The cabin backs to pretty woods which provide peace and quiet, privacy as well as abundant wildlife. The lake is just 100 yards down a nice trail through the woods. A 3 person kayak is available for your use, as well as a fire ring and lawn chairs.
