Es una playa con buenas olas para la práctica de surf por lo que hay ambiente todo el año. Se puede aparcar dentro de la parcela. La playa de El Palmar es un sitio muy bonito para disfrutar. Su ubicación céntrica permite fácilmente visitar la ciudad de Cádiz y otros pueblos históricos de la zona (Vejer de La Frontera, Tarifa, Medina Sidonia, ..)
