Meat Cove Campground (Cabin #5)

Each camp cabin sleeps 3 people comfortably. Inside each cabin is one double/single bed (with mattress). A table and chairs and 6 foot shaded deck with table outside. The cabins have solar power. (Small lamp and a place to charge small devices. You must also bring all of your own bedding (sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, etc) and all of your own cooking supplies (pots/pans, cups, plates, silverware) These cabins do not have any plumbing or heat. Hot showers and flush toilets are below the cabin

Smokey Cove Red Cottage

The ever-present sound of the ocean and magical vistas set the stage for these tranquil, four-season cottages. Ideal for couples or small families, the cottages feature one queen bed and a queen sofa-bed (same room), a well-appointed kitchen and a 3-piece bathroom with a stand-up shower. The cottages are located on a 5 acre, boulder beach with occasional sandy patches. Ample parking. Located just 2 km from Ski Cape Smokey and 6 km from the National Park and beaches. Great ocean fishing on site.

Moose & Merlin Glamping Cabin

This cabin is a palace for seasoned campers and glamping for people who are not as outdoorsy. Comfy queen bed, a mini wood stove, and a unique style made from scratch by a thrifty woman and her carpenter dad. There is electricity. The kitchen is simple: No running water but a sink and water provided. No fridge but a cooler and endless ice packs available. No wifi in the cabin itself but available a short walk away. There is cell service. An outhouse 25 seconds away. Shower available by request.

Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Cabot Trail Wilderness Cabin | The Canopy

The Canopy is the 2nd largest of the 3 wilderness cabins, and closest to the washrooms, nestled among the forest which leads down to the waterfront. All the cabins sleep two people, with a personal fire pit, bbq, kitchenette, drinking water (although no running water), and all the amenities needed to spend a few nights in nature. The shared outdoor bathroom has been hand crafted with lots of natural light, a composting toilet (i.e. non-flushing), hot water shower and two sinks.
