You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. This cabin is just part of our business which is called Round Pond Lodging, where we offer deer and turkey hunts during the season. Another plus to our property is that we are just minutes away from the Shawnee National Forest, Ohio River, Harrah's Casino, and Paducah KY home of the AQS Quilt Show. Every property we have offers a view of the quiet, beautiful, scenery that we call home. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

This cabin is part of the original homestead that was established in 1855 by Valentine Kimber. Located close to wine trails and interstate 57.
