Property is gated, guest have there own access and free to roam the property. We like to give guest there own space, however either myself or a staff member are always available and happy to help. Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). De Rust Willow Cottage - Villiersdorp, Theewaters

Note: This is a Hostless/ self-check in stay. Willow Cottage (Pet Friendly) has access to the whole pear farm and is on the banks of the largest dam in the Western Cape. Your stay also includes a private dam and picnic area to relax at. We are neighbours to Theewater Sports Club where one can sail, swim, fish and boat and close by is wine and beer tasting, and restaurants. We are 2kms from Villiersdorp, a short drive accesses all towns, and you can request single night stays and late checkout.

Willowdene is a working farm, where you can come to rest. You will be able to enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by the sounds of nature overlooking vineyards and mountains. Guests can choose to either hike between the vineyards or enjoy a relaxing day on the stoep. The kitchen is equipped with all basic amenities. Both bathrooms are equipped with spacious showers. The house can accommodate 8 guests- 6 adults and 2 children. Willowdene ensures guests an unforgettable stay.

Heidi's Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

Lavender Cottage @ Pendennis Farm Villiersdorp

The pet friendly Lavender Cottage is on a working farm 10 kms outside Villiersdorp in the beautiful Bossieveld. You can enjoy walk in the orchards and vineyards and meet our animals on the way. The communal natural swimming pool is open from November to May. We offer complimentary tea , instant coffee, rusk, braai wood, fire lighters and our own olive oil. For our little guests there is a playground with a jungle gym. The cottage has a large fenced garden.

Kliprivier Cottage

Situated on a working fruit and wine farm beneath the beautiful Stettyn Mountains, Kliprivier Cottage offers vineyard views and a peaceful farm atmosphere. We’re conveniently located just across the road from the Stettyn Family Vineyards tasting room, where you can enjoy award-winning wines and cheese platters. Outdoor lovers will appreciate the MTB and running trails, as well as our tranquil dam, ideal for bass fishing or birding.
