The house is build from an ancient cave, behind Santa Maria La Nova main church. The big garden is the natural extension of the house.. hammock, fireplace, tables and spaces among olive and lemon trees, hidden from tourists routes, perfectly inside the village.

Casa Stella Celeste is situated in the quiet, old district of Cartellone, in the heart of Modica. It offers guests a spectacular view of the old town, opposite the baroque Saint George Cathedral. From the central Corso Umberto I, where you can park the car, you can only reach Casa Celeste on feet by taking a narrow street and several flight of steps - as is the case with most accommodations in Modica - but it is definitely doable. Restored in July 2017, the house consists of two studios of 28 square meters with each an independent entrance. Inside, the kitchen-living area with sofa bed, induction cooking facility and the bathroom are on the ground floor; the double bed is on the mezzanine with the possibility to add a single bed. It is located in the center of the mountain town of Chiaramonte Gulfi,right in the front of town hall,at the end of a courtyard where parking is free.About 100-200 meters away are all the various shops,bars,restaurants,the main square. It is a "real house",welcoming,equipped,well heated.The large vaults,the huge terrace and two further rooms under stone arches in the basement make it special and with a charms all its own. The hostess decorated it with particular pieces.
