Enjoy the peaceful rainforest in the heart of Volcano Village and explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park just a few minutes away. The property is secured by entry gate and there is dedicated guest parking. We are also within walking distance of several restaurants, general stores, and the Sunday farmers market.

Surrounded by the rainforest of Volcano and situated just outside of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, our cozy cottage offers a welcoming place for some rest and relaxation between adventures. Hale 'Alalā is named after the highly endangered hawaiian crow whose reintroduction efforts have been focused on the forests around Volcano. While there are no longer any Alalā living in the wild, you can see a pair of live Alalā just down the road at the Panaewa Zoo (free admission).
