Light and modern, loft-style studio apartment on Shelly Beach Road located in a peaceful spot at the end of a quiet street, reminiscent of old Waiheke. Wake up in the morning to beautiful sea views from your bed and more sea views from the lounge. Relax on a private balcony in the sun overlooking a lush garden with fruit trees.
Barbeque on the deck in the evening and watch the sun go down over the hills and Putiki Bay.
The property is fully fenced so perfect for children. There is a trampoline in the garden under a spreading olive tree.
The large and sunny lounge and kitchen look over treetops to the bay. The bedroom has a luxurious bed and ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet.
It is just a 2 minute walk to a secluded beach with a jetty and pohutakawa trees for shade in the summer.
Extra people (2) can sleep in the lounge on the double sofa bed.
Porta cot available.
Kayaks are available for guests to use and explore the bay.
Rent our electric bikes (1 lady’s bike, 1 man’s bike), subject to availability.
This a great way to get around Waiheke Island, flattens the hills of Waiheke! $20 per day, per bike.

Oneroa village is a 5 minute drive away, it is an easy walk to Goldie Vineyard and the Saturday market at Ostend. The main supermarket is a 20 minute walk away and a fruit & vege/deli is a 15 minute walk away.
Buses leave for both ends of the island from the bus stop at the end of the street.
Waiheke Island is just 35 minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland, New Zealand. The island is a haven of beautiful beaches, vineyards, walkways, olive oil producers, cafés and bars, artist's studios, fabulous restaurants and a great little community.
The bus stop is at the end of Shelly Beach Road and they will take you in all directions on the island. Our bikes are also a great way to see the island!
We have a bouncy hunterway dog who will welcome you! His name is Benny. If you’re not keen on dogs we will tie him up.
The studio is in a separate building from our home so the space to rent is private. But, we love to meet new people from all over the world and we are keen to chat and help you have the best time on Waiheke Island if that is what you would like.
Goldie Vineyard has lovely hilltop views over Putiki Bay. Man o War Bay is a great spot to sit and sample the wine and platters of food and look out to sea, and Whakanawha Regional Park has walks and beautiful reserves for swimming at high tide.
Waiheke Island is easily accessed from the airport via the SkyBus. It collects passengers from both domestic and international terminals and delivers them to the ferry terminal. It takes about an hour and costs $28 return.
The ferry company operating to Waiheke Island is called Fullers and the wharf is located at the ferry terminal at Downtown Auckland and cost is approx. $32 return per adult. There are family passes and multiple ride options, see each of their websites for up to date ticket info and timetables.
Numbers 1 and 4 bus from Matiatia wharf on Waiheke Island will take you to the end of Shelly Beach Road. The buses from this bus stop will take you in all directions on the island. Our electric bikes are also a great way to see the island! You can hire them for $20 per day, per bike.
