Beachside B & B

The guest suite occupies the downstairs portion of our house. It is self contained with a private entrance from a deck leading to the garden. It has a large master bedroom, a lounge with kitchenette & separate bathroom. The bathroom is bright, light & has modern fittings with shower, WC & vanity. The lounge includes a sofa bed, window seat, dining area & kitchenette, with facilities to self cater if required. There is a garden gate which gives access to the nature reserve, river and beach.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

Absolute beach-front in Paekakariki, a Kapiti coast village 40km from Wellington City. Te One is a classic 1970's bach with open plan kitchen & living area, stunning deck, vintage furniture and contemporary art. Only 3 minutes walk to train station, cafe, deli, and an excellent pub/restaurant. Enjoy swimming, beach walks, hiking, mountain biking (our 2 normally available) or just relax on the deck. Gorgeous light filled studio in lovely garden.

Our studio apartment is totally self contained, with wonderful wooden floors and light streaming in from the garden one looks onto. Perfectly situated a few minutes drive between Havelock North and Hastings and decorated with a Colonial African slant. We always leave muesli, fruit, milk, and croissants in the fridge for our guests to enjoy on their FIRST morning, so they can relax and not have to go out for breakfast. Tea and coffee are always provided.

A lovely two bedroom bach at Castlepoint. Open plan kitchen, dining, lounge & a great deck to enjoy the view! Comfortably sleeps 4 in 2 Queen rooms along with a nice leather sofa-bed in the lounge. The property is set just over half way up Guthrie Crescent so you know the view is a winner. A beautiful spot perfect to Relax and Unwind! Heatpump/air con Linen is not included but access to a Full Linen Service is available No pets allowed

Welcome to The Beach Pod - your own 'tiny house' studio in the corner of our back garden. Outside is a large luxury stone bath in a quiet private garden setting, and there are two areas with a table and chairs to enjoy the morning and afternoon sun. We have a two night minimum stay. We also offer a guaranteed late checkout of 2pm on the day you leave.... so you can sleep-in and relax.... there is no rush to go :-)

Hunter Bay House is absolute stand alone beachfront at the southern most tip of Wellington. 25 minutes from the CBD it's positioned at the foot of rural land overlooking wild Cook Strait with uninterrupted sea views across to the snowy South Island mountain ranges.
