Accomodation is located at the back of the section. There is a security camera monitoring the front driveway and road. The room is very compact cosy and private in a garden setting with a courtyard. My guests so far have told me the bed is very comfortable. There is AC unit. There is a small step onto the unit veranda to access the room. I DONT allow children or pets to stay as there is no room, as well as safety concerns, the room and sectiois not child proof. I provide milk tea and coffee

Rural Cottage Retreat

We offer an entire self-contained unit with ample secure parking. The room is cozy and clean. You have your own private deck overlooking a rural setting. Our recently renovated home is easily located in a quiet side street off the main highway through Wairoa. The house is on a large section with room to play, close to the local restaurants and within walking distance of the main street, and local shops. An easy drive to the beautiful Mahia beach or Lake Waikaremoana. Whether you are on a family holiday or a business trip, your stay will be relaxing and comfortable with all the trimmings of a home away from home.

Sanctuary Lodge - Cabin 1

Get away from it all and re-energise yourselves. Mahia offers safe swimming, fishing and walks. The cabin is located in private bush setting, overlooking Mahia Peninsula and two bays. Cabin 1 can sleep a couple in a queen bed and one child under 7. It has recently been renovated, we are aiming for a comfortable, relaxing, and cosy feeling. We do offer reduced rates for more than one night's stay, please ask for prices.
