Elaine Bay is the gateway for fishing and boating in the Pelorus Sound, with a launching ramp, and a mooring available.

Only 10 minutes drive from Picton where the train, bus or ferry connects you to the gateway of the South Island or North Island. The views are sensational of Waikawa Bay .Enjoy the local sealife from the deck- resident rays seals fish and even the occasional dolphin. Great spot for a sunset bevy and taking a swim from. Watch the boats come and go from the marina and relax on the deck or balcony. The water is tidal so at high tide the water laps at the property boundary. At low tide there are expansive mud flats. The view is constantly changing with lots of bird life. It is north west facing so we get the most beautiful sunsets.
