Wasta is a small friendly village which is situated off the Interstate 90, easy access to Wall (10 minutes east) with the gate to the Badlands just 20 minutes away.

We also have several animals on our property including horses, dogs, cats and wildlife such as antelope. It involves a private entrance with a rustic atmosphere and open concept with all modern amenities.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located cozy studio apartment near historic West Boulevard at the center of Rapid City, close to downtown Rapid, grocery stores and restaurants. You'll enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with full stand-up shower. The 43" smart TV makes streaming your favorite shows easy. While the studio is small (225 sq ft,) it is clean and cozy, and if anything is needed to make one's stay more comfortable, we will do what we can to accommodate requests.

Enjoy the walk-in shower with 2 shower heads and then get a soothing night sleep on the top of the line mattress produced by Nectar. Kick back at the end of your night by trying out the retro arcade game or watching a movie accompanied by your own bucket of popcorn from the popcorn maker and supplies provided. All of this is centrally located within driving distance to all the sites and attractions!

The tiny house of Wasta with lots of character

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The tiny house is not an actual tiny house, a one bedroom with 1 queen bed, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Lazy boy reclining love seat, and a lazy boy recliner (very comfortable) for watching a movie in front of a faux fireplace. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The microwave is air fryer/microwave. Enjoy your evening/morning sitting on the covered porch with your favorite beverage.

The Rock and Block house

This is a Great Little House with Rustic yet Modern Charm, Beautiful View of the Cheyenne River Breaks. Two very comfy king sized beds. Wasta is a "very" small town, a gas station, a fabulous military museum and a bar. You can take in the Badlands on your way, you might drop down through Interior, S.D. and drive through the Badlands then come out just south of Wall. We are about 20 miles from the Badlands, 40 miles from Rapid City, and Beautiful Black Hills. Thank You, Billie

Cozy Cottage is the perfect place to relax after a day of traveling. Kadoka is a TINY (population 600) safe and quiet town on the edge of the Badlands. You will be 20 miles from the entrance to the Badlands National Park, 35 miles from Wall drug and 90 Miles from Rapid city/Black Hills. We are a rural community so eating out is limited to subway and gas station food. Please keep this in mind as you travel!
