The Grand Ronde River is a 20 minute drive from the cabin that offers great fishing, swimming, and rafting. Also cross country skiing, hiking trails at Field Springs State Park. Mushroom hunting and huckleberry picking are close by. Millies Grille (in Anatone) and Boggans Oasis (20 mi. South) are local eateries with good food. Hours vary. Relaxation and the great outdoors are calling.

Even though the Wallowa River is in earshot of the cabin, there is an area of natural grass giving the impression of a barrier which is perfect for those more timid littles to want to stay in the yard until you are ready to take them to the water. My Troy, Oregon log cabin (not in Enterprise) is located due West down Bartlett Road, past the row of mailboxes, and straight forward. The true log cabin has two bedrooms (one in the loft), a kitchen, laundry, porch, and outdoor space for tents, games, kids and dogs. Private access to the Wenaha River is behind the cabin. The Grande Ronde River is also a short walk away. There is no restaurant, bar or gasoline in Troy. Stay 3+ nights, rate changes to $150/night. Be sure to ask.
