The Annexe is a cosy 1 bedroom residence, attached to our home with its own entrance. Set in the picturesque village of Litton, and the Peak District National Park. The Red Lion pub is a short stroll away, as is the community village shop/post office. The” Cathedral in the Peak” Tideswell is just 0.6 mile away. Beautiful walks,cycling and relaxation await you from your doorstep. Chatsworth House, Hadden and Thornbridge hall, Bakewell and Buxton are all within easy reach, as is the Monsal Trail.

The Red Lion serves great food & the local shop sells homemade and local goods are both 1/4mile away. The nearby village of Tideswell has more shops, pubs & cafes. Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton & Chatsworth are all within easy reach as well as stunning countryside walks & beauty spots.

Monsal View Cottage

A beautiful space with exquisite views set at the iconic viewpoint of Monsal Head. This is the perfect base to really enjoy all that the Peak District has to offer- including the most epic view of all at Monsal Head and the Headstone Viaduct. ** Pets allowed on request ** Located at Hobb’s Cafe so you have a quaint little cafe right next door! Enjoy breathtaking views all to yourself in the mornings and evenings. Please check out Hobb’s Cafe online to fully see the location of this cottage.

A beautiful, recently converted, barn which was originally a Coach House. Totally newly renovated in 2018 this two bed, two bath cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' field to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Perfectly located to explore the Peak District with walks from the doorstep including Cressbrook Dale. The accommodation includes a mini fully equipped kitchen area, perfect for making breakfast in bed. The Coachman’s Hideaway is a room in our home but with its own entrance.

Foolow (originally "la foulowe" - 1284) meaning a hill frequented by birds, is one of the hidden gems of the Peak District. Within easy travel to many Peak District attractions and walks. We warmly welcome well behaved doggies.
