Our lake access is close enough to bike/walk, but we prefer to drive into the access w/all of our gear! @ the gated access you will find a swimming area, boat launch, grills, screened in & open pavilion, and a playground. The Roosevelt

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds. This historic cottage, nestled among the 17 acre Brookfield Estate, echoes a much slower pace & lifestyle. Travel the tree lined drive towards the bubbling fountain & the main house. This cozy cottage is 1 of 2 charming guest cottages. Both with kitchens, bedrooms & baths. A carriage house barn is yours to enjoy meals, play cards & listen to music. Sit around the bon fire in rocking chairs to share s’mores, watch the sunset & gaze at stars!

If you’re looking for a weekend getaway from the city to enjoy some quiet time or a small campfire, this is the place! There is plenty of room for 1 or 2 families but still has a cozy vibe.
