Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views & Hot Tub

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

A cosy self-contained cabin with king bed, sofa bed, en-suite shower room, kitchenette, TV, parking, and huge garden. Situated in the idyllic village of Bromham within walking distance of the local pub, this is a convenient base for attending events at Bowood House. Lacock Abbey, Avebury and Stonehenge are nearby, and a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars are available a short drive away in Devizes, Marlborough and Bath. Ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing countryside stay.

Entire Cabin close to Bath with Hot Tub

Owl cabin is a peaceful & cosy retreat, situated in our garden next to our house on the edge of our woodland, a haven for deer, badgers & owls. From the veranda you can watch our free-range ducks & chickens, buzzards & red kites thermalling over the valley & horses coming and going. There is a private, woodland garden with a wood fired hot tub to enjoy the views or gaze at the stars. There are lots of lovely walks including across the fields to the local pub and Bath is only 15-20 mins by car.

The closest accommodation to the Tor summit. A characterful chalet with breathtaking views over exquisite private grounds and the Somerset Levels. Access immediately onto the Tor. Made from sustainable local cedar, this studio chalet features a kitchenette and beautiful bathroom with waterfall shower and bath. Cosy fire and sheltered veranda with daybed for year-round comfort and enjoyment. Private garden with log benches, meditation chair, fire pit. Natural pool and sauna available to guests.

Lakeside Annexe in hamlet next to the K&A canal

The Annexe is attached to our house which is on the edge of a small hamlet bordering the Kennet and Avon canal in the heart of the stunning Pewsey Vale. It overlooks our small private lake which is host to a variety of water birds including our beautiful pair of resident swans. We have some wonderful walks directly from the house which include two excellent village pubs. The location is ideal for trips to Bath, Salisbury, Oxford and London (fast train from Pewsey) plus many local attractions.

The Lodge at Gales Court, luxury log cabin

This hand built cedar log cabin is a cosy, comfortable and luxurious stay for up to 4 people. Situated in the Mendips, the views are outstanding. Nestled in a peaceful valley and overlooking surrounding farmland, it truly is a very special and relaxing place to stay. We welcome up to two well behaved dogs (dogs stay FREE). EV charging point. Nearest pub is a mile away. Midsomer Norton 1.5 miles, Wells 9.1 miles, Glastonbury 11 miles, Frome 8.4 miles, Bath 12 miles, Longleat 10 miles.

Stunning self contained luxury cabin located in the back garden of a private house. European king size bed, bathroom and a separate fully equipped kitchen. The outdoor areas have countryside views. The cabin is a 20 minute walk from the City Centre and has excellent public transport links. It is an ideal base for exploring Bath with its myriad of shops and culture, or for going out and about on the network of footpaths and cycle tracks, the Two Tunnels cycleway is 2 minutes away.

Woodland Annex

The garden annex is in a quiet hamlet near Peasedown St John, Bath, a quiet retreat away from the city. Miles of countryside and woodland walks but close to amenities and bus routes, it’s a very special spot. Perfect for visiting Bath Christmas market, only a short drive to Odd Down Park and Ride or direct buses to the centre of Bath and Wells (uphill walk to bus 7 mins). Longleat Safari Park is only 30 mins so great for families. Bath Spa and Bath University 20 minutes away.

Larks Leaze Lodge, Steeple Ashton, Wiltshire
