The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Memorable Cozy Lake Cabin on Cranberry Lake

Kick back and relax on Cranberry Lake. Wake up to the loons calling then enjoy breakfast with a great lake view. You can boat from Cranberry to the Minong Flowage and enjoy numerous dining options on the water. This is a small home but very cozy for 4 people. There is a screen house in the lawn as well as firepit and woodshed. Plenty of outdoor seating at the house and at the landing to the lake. You will thoroughly enjoy Cranberry Lake. Please note, there is marginal cell service and no wifi.

Adorable Northwoods cabin

Come enjoy the North woods in our beautiful little cabin. This cabin is a located in a perfect spot only 2 miles outside of Iron River. Close to tourist areas such as Duluth, Bayfield, Ashland and more. This cabin is the perfect get away. The Brule river is only 8 miles away and can make for the perfect day trip in a kayak or canoe. This cabin comfortably fits 2-4 people! You can enjoy the outdoors at the fire pit or the 3 season porch that gives you the perfect indoor/outdoor feeling!

The Perry Pines Yurt is a 4-season yurt on Perry Lake less than 2 miles from Cable. With quick access to CAMBA mountain bike trails (4 miles to the North End Trailhead), the Birkie Start Area (5 miles), and on an ATV route, it's a great basecamp for your outdoor activities. Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. As you head north to Wisconsin and Lake Superior you are surrounded by the silence of the forest. You can relax , away from the bustle of everyday life. The famous Bois Brule River is a short walk down the hill. We are just an hour from the Apostle Islands, Bayfield, Hayward, Ashland, Wi or Duluth, Mn. Our cabin is very quiet. We are on 3 wooded acres. Our place is a cabin. Not a house. We aren't fancy but comfortable. Get set for a beautiful peaceful time in the pines.

Upon your arrival to Buffalo Valley you will receive a warm welcome with an escort to your house by the host, in the beautiful north woods. At check in you will receive a key to the cabin. (Please note that the house capacity is 6 guests, no exceptions. We also have a NO pet policy.) There is a guide book that gives you all the information you will need. You will love how remote you are, yet so close to town. Enjoy the fire pit and sauna in the comforts of the wilderness!

Relax on beautiful Lake Pokegama. Our dog-friendly cottage sits on 225 feet of flat, grassy frontage with an outstanding sandy beach and swimming area that includes a dock and swim raft. Plenty of room to play! Scenic lake views from cabin. Lake Pokegama is known for its outstanding fishing (Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Panfish and Crappies). Please specify if you will be bringing your dog. The pet fee is $95.00 for each dog for your entire stay (sorry no cats).
