Winter, spring, summer or fall, forget your worries & feel your stress melt away in this charming waterfront 🏡. Wake up to glorious sunrises, relax on the outside seating areas, swim, float, kayak, BBQ, fish, golf, hike, bike, ATV, go whale/bird watching, leaf peeping, boating or river rafting, read, nap on the hammocks, have a fire/s’mores or simply enjoy the ever changing view from the inside. Schoodic Loft Cabin "The Roost" with Kayaks

This playful cabin offers a unique spot to unwind and explore the Schoodic peninsula and Downeast Maine. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Meddybemps Lake is one of Down East Maine’s sparkling natural treasures. Our cabin sits on a point of land and provides everything you could wish in a cozy lakefront retreat. We love to say it is centrally located - to wilderness hiking in Moosehorn NWR, to Cobscook Bay, to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, to the beautiful friendly Down East towns of Machias, Eastport and Calais. The cabin itself is built of local pine and cedar, and sits on the lakefront among towering pine and spruce trees.

Visit the many surrounding lakes and the Narraguagus River for fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Hike, bike, ski, snowshoe, snowmobile, ATV on any of the many trails. Take a day trip to Acadia NP or tour the spectacular Downeast coast.

Lakeside Serenity Retreat

Quaint cottage located just steps away from the magnificent Meddybemps Lake! Ideal for watching loons, ducks, eagles, jumping fish and spectacular sunsets. On location are kayaks to enjoy! Within 20-30 minutes you can get to many restaurants, shopping, visit Calais, ME, or New Brunswick, Canada. (If you ever feel like leaving this adorable cottage!) Short distance to Campobello Island (historic Roosevelt Cottage), St. Croix Island park, Machias, Eastport, Pembroke and many hiking trails.

Little Green Cottage

The Little Green Cottage is a peaceful location, on the edge of a calm river, where you can frequently see turtles and frogs. Truly a place to see the night sky and experience nature. Acadia is a little over 2 hours away. Quoddy Head State Park and Campobello Island (Canada - bring your passport), is within 30 minutes. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. We just added an office shed for those who have to work on vacation. Additional fee to rent so please request in the booking.
