Pea Cottage - A beautiful countryside retreat

A private retreat for two in an 1834 stone stable, five miles from Stamford. Honey-coloured oak beams, heated brick and oak floors, a wood burner, a super-king bed and a cast-iron roll-top bath. Outside, there's a private patio, a wildflower meadow and our hens, with fresh eggs for breakfast. Puddle Duck Barn

With open field views from the rear terrace, and a lot of local wildlife from red kite, to barn owls, to deer and rabbits that skip through the fields, with further views of horses over the paddock, this tranquil but modern barn is the perfect place to relax and recharge after a long day, or for a countryside retreat.
