The Two Wild Olives-Shumba Self-Catering Unit

Shumba is an "African feel" garden cottage that is ideal for a family. It is a two bedroom, two bathroom(ensuite bathrooms) with a fully equipped kitchen and a small lounge. (It can accommodate 6 people :4 adults and 2 children) Bed Set-up: 2 x Kings OR 1 King + 2 singles OR 4 x singles(bedroom) + 2 x Single sleeper couches in lounge *Only 1 parking bay per unit. We are ideally situated 6km from Pilanesberg National Park and are only a 20km away from Sun City Casino and Entertainment Center.

View the game in the sunset/sunrise from the stunning raised deck or in the lovely dip pool and experience the stunning 360 scenic views of the Kransberg mountains and surrounding hills. There are two adjoining camping pitches to bring guests with you. (Please contact host to make arrangements with host.) Fully solar, off grid. 4x4 required for rainy months, as the farm roads can get extremely muddy.

The mountain cottage is a unique, remote and romantic place to disconnect, enjoy spectacular sunsets followed by an evening of star gazing. High up in the Waterberg mountains this eco cottage operates on solar power and relies on rain water harvesting, whilst battery operated lamps are provided for light. The cottage is best reached by 4x4 or high clearance vehicle; alternatively arrange for us to fetch you at the gate to take you. Join us and switch off, very limited connectivity only.

Relax on the deck or sit around the fire pit while watching the game drift by. Solar powered lights, and a hot shower are a few of your limited comforts, as a bush lover enthusiast. Covid 19 response, all our staff are vaccinated and the Tent is completely isolated. There is no contact with any other guests.

You will feel it as you walk through the door and enter the living area that opens onto a spacious deck with expansive views of Bushveld. The perfect spot for relaxation, celebration, and family.

17 Zebula Golf Estate (12 beds MAX 8 adults)

Luxury in the bush. This house is located on the Zebula Golf Estate and Spa with 4 large and 2 small en-suite bedrooms (12 beds with maximum of 8 adults) The house has 2 open plan living room areas with TV, full DSTV channels and uncapped Wifi. Fully equipped kitchen. The upstairs entertainment area comes with a pool table and a deck with a view of the pool and boma. It includes a covered wooden deck area with pool which has a safety net. There is also a boma area with a firepit.

Klipsand Tent Camp

Klipsand Tentcamp is nestled at the foot of the majestic Waterberg mountains and the Marakele National Park in the Thabazimbi bushveld. Lots of free roaming game, abundant birdlife and an expansive night sky makes this a nature lover’s delight. This is the ideal getaway from the noise of the city. Come and relax around the splash pool and outdoor fireplace, or take leisurely walks on the farm. The farm is situated in the UNESCO protected Waterberg biosphere.

Aloe Lodge

Aloe Lodge is an off-the-grid retreat tucked between 2 rocky hills located on Grootfontein Private Nature Reserve. This listing is for exclusive use for 2-4 guests. The bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers. Guests can unwind in the private splash pool while enjoying mountain views or enjoy stargazing from the cargo net. Warm water is provided via a gas geyser, and Wi-Fi is available for guests’ convenience.

Butterfly Cottage, Waterberg Cottages

A bushveld getaway on a private game reserve in the Waterberg Biosphere. Enjoy the cottage hot tub, the tranquility of the bush, walking trails, spectacular game drives, game viewing on horseback, kids pony rides, our heated pool, astronomy shows, and our family friendly facilities. Butterfly cottage itself is a thatched cottage in our game area.
