Our cozy guesthouse offers the best of 2 worlds. You are in a lovely quiet place in the middle of nature with a view of meadows and forest. If you're lucky you'll be face to face with a cow from the house. But you are also only 15 minutes away from the lively capital Amsterdam. The guesthouse is very private at the back of our site at a good distance from our typical Dutch farmhouse. We live here with our 2 kids and our 2 dogs (who walk around freely). Peace & quiet, relaxation, plenty to do!

Inn on the Lake is an all season sensation. In summer the gardens are lush with private terraces and full of seasonal flowers. Our beautiful boat is ready to take our guests on a nature trip through the lakes and surroundings. In winter the 17th century Vicarage and the lake glitter with ice and skating is in front of our doorstep. Our private Spa/Sauna & Massage treatments is open for our guests only. Monnickendam is een rustig stadje aan het IJsselmeer vlakbij Amsterdam (15 minuten per bus) waar je nog kunt parkeren. Grote delen van Waterland zijn een mix van oud cultuurlandschap en beschermde natuurgebieden die u kunt bezoeken met kleine bootjes. Het IJsselmeerstrand is om de hoek en het Noordzeestrand met de auto in 40 minuten te bereiken.

The studio is located in the garden of a beautiful modern houseboat (which can sometimes also be booked during the summer holidays, if you're lucky!) on the other side of the Broekervaart and borders the meadows. The studio is accessible by its own private cable ferry. Free parking is available directly on the dike opposite the plot.
