The bathroom has a large shower, heated floors and luxurious towels. Also included are plush robes, remote control candles, and TV w/ Roku.

The big house is minutes from where the Blue Ridge Parkway meets Skyline Drive and Rockfish Valley's 5 wineries, 3 breweries, cidery and distillery. Our site offers pastoral views and hikes in the forest on our 70 acres near the Shenandoah Valley. You’ll be learning about this straw-bale constructed eco-centric home. Our free range hens provide fresh eggs for your breakfast. (This is an extra fee during our busy season. )

Joshua Wilton House - Room 5: The Lavender Room

The Lavender Room features soft purple walls, tall ceilings, and a comfortable king-sized bed. Charming purple and gold accents are a nod to our local university, JMU. You can enjoy local artwork, as well as the home's blueprints that adorn the walls. The bathroom features a shower/bathtub combination, and dark purple walls. A writing desk is there if you'd like to get some work done, and two window-side chairs for an intimate evening overlooking the town.
