Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within West Sussex (Warninglid), this lovely little home has a very special place in our family's heart and is equipped with everything you could need for a memorable stay. You will have access to the High Weald on your doorstep with numerous bridleways and footpaths. Access to the South Downs and coast is only a short drive away; locally, there is a wealth of fine dining choices and easily accessible shopping options in the nearby market towns.

The Stables Cottage…(the cutting garden house)

Be a country person for the weekend, stay in a 200 year old stable block, super light, with vaulted ceilings. A large sitting room, big bedroom, up a step to the kitchen/diner and bathroom. The newly fitted kitchen has sink, microwave, hob, and fridge/freezer. Also a sofabed. National Trust houses, historic Mayfield, village walks and the South Downs nearby. Small dogs welcome. The cottage overlooks the cutting gardens. A Private seating areas & wifi good for a working retreat!

Set in the beautiful grounds of a fifteenth century Wealden hall house, The Stables is a delightful oak framed cottage - a hidden-away and peaceful haven for two. Enjoy this cosy but spacious room, it has its own entrance with a south facing patio and garden. An ensuite shower room and super king size bed. The room has lovely views,and private garden over looking a tree lined paddock, full of wildlife. Enjoy an early morning cuppa whilst relaxing in the super king size bed, or a evening glass of wine on the patio, and you may even see an owl swooping and foraging for food. There is a great pub only a short 5 minute walk away.
