I'm an architect, and originally designed the studio as a workspace at the rear of our home for my photographer husband, Ian. We've recently converted it to a self-contained dwelling, so we can share what we love about the city. Cafes, shops & restaurants, walks around the harbour & hills - It's all within easy reach, or just sit back & relax.

One of Wellington's most photographed buildings. Secure keypad entry provides 24/7 access to your private space. You will be occupying the entire top floor, take the stairs or the lift that opens into the 80 square metre apartment. Two minutes walk to Courtenay Place, Te Papa, Tākina Conference Centre and the waterfront, it's perfectly placed for exploring Wellington on foot. After dark the entertainment quarter and some of Wellingtons best restaurants are at your doorstep.

It's a walk up to a special view of Wellington

Nestled against the bush just above our home, our studio offers an amazing view of Wellington Harbour. Reaching it requires a brief uphill walk, but for those who enjoy the outdoors and don’t shy away from a little exercise, the reward is well worth it. The breathtaking views and cosy accommodation make the effort part of the experience. That said, if you prefer level access or are travelling with particularly heavy luggage, our studio may not be the best fit.

Self-contained Studio-Wadestown

Newly built downstairs self-contained studio unit in a century old Wadestown bungalow. A complimentary continental breakfast is provided. Unit has a separate entrance, and guests are welcome to share the deck and garden areas set amongst the bushclad hills. Centrally located being a 25-minute walk or less than 10-minute bus ride to the city and Sky Stadium. Bus stop at the gate. Approximately a 10-minute car ride to the ferry terminals. Free on street parking.

Urban Forest Retreat

Kick back and relax in this calm, private, stylish studio nestled in an urban forest and just a few minutes walk to the beach and 15mins to the CBD/8mins to airport. Stay in and enjoy a morning coffee while listening to native bird song or eat alfresco on the private deck which gets afternoon and evening sun. Go out and explore the south coast with the beach & bush walks less than 10mins walk from your door.
