Above the Trail

Prefer short term stays of 28 days or less, but open to discussing a longer stay. The carriage house is private so that you feel separate from the main house. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood on the side of Eagle Ridge Mountain. You will be six kilometers from downtown Grand Forks, a short drive with lots of shopping. You can easily access to the Trans Canada Trail around the corner from the carriage house where you can hike, bike, ATV, cross-country ski; an outdoor enthusiast's dream!

Unwind, relax and rejuvenate at our mountain farm getaway. Sitting just below the summit of Anarchist Mountain (4034ft) provides expansive views and endless stars from the deck of this fully equipped cabin. Year round availability with hiking, rivers & lakes nearby in summer; snowshoeing & skiing in winter. Generally peaceful and quiet, we are a working farm with cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, chickens, cats, working dogs and the occasional tractor. Pets permitted, only with prior approval.

Welcome to The View on 87th, we are a 7 minute walk to the historic downtown and beaches (2 min drive). Come stay and enjoy our panoramic view of Osoyoos Lake and Anarchist Mountain. This place will unwind and recharge you in no time. We travel extensively, know what we like, and set this place up as a perfect 2-couple or extended family getaway. We are also pet friendly (not on the beds/furniture please) to responsible owners. Please don't be the person who gets this rule changed.

Paradise on the River Cabin Retreat -Seasonal Pool

Plenty of space to explore, enjoy, and relax. You can raft down the river, enjoy the pool, trampoline, barbeque, have a campfire, play games. Golfing is located across the street. Close to the Trans Canada Trail. Covid safe, special cleaning procedures in place, social distancing, no contact check-in process. Our sweet little cabin was built with much love. It’s clean, cozy and has everything you need for few days of refuge from life’s busy buzz. Close to the river, golf, ski hill, hiking, KVR bike trail and many more adventures. Has fridge, bbq, one burner propane plate and induction toaster oven. Bathroom and queen bed in loft. All bedding and linens are available. Kids welcome as there is futon couch that folds into bed. Fire pit for when fires are allowed.
