Although it is a basement, there are a few stairs to access the space, yet the entrances & hallways are more than 5' wide. Each bdrm has large window & black out blinds. The space is equipped with Geothermal for heating & cooling. Children and pets are welcome but please be respectful of space.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Nestled by the river Seine, in an artist village in the region of Champagne, this former priory is located only 100km from Paris (55mn direct train between the neighboring Nogent s/Seine and Gare de l'Est). This is an authentic and resourcing place, newly renovated, loaded with 400 years of history. We have decorated the house with love and care, the equipment is very generous. Die ehemalige Dorfkirche liegt in einem 1.600 Quadratmeter großen Grundstück mitten im Dorf Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen. Von allen Seiten umschlossen ist es ein idealer Rückzugsort, ohne „aus der Welt zu sein“. In der Morgensonne vor der Sakristei, auf der Kirchenmauer am Nachmittag oder abends unter Obstbäumen. Im unteren Turmzimmer auf der Couch, im oberen Turmzimmer – dem ehemaligen Glockenraum – beim Beobachten der Vögel. Es findet sich immer ein nettes Plätzchen.
