You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the comfy bed, the wood burning stove, the dark night sky and the views across the meadow. Fen Lodge is suitable for couples and solo adventurers. It is perfectly located for exploring the Suffolk Coast, historic sites like Framlingham and Orford Castles, Sutton Hoo and Snape Maltings and is a great area for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, with the magnificent Minsmere RSPB reserve just 8 miles away. Our Shepherds hut is situated in the corner of our field surrounded by hedging and stunning views. If you’re a keen cyclist there’s many different routes in the area as well as many footpaths for avid ramblers. If star gazing is your thing then we can promise you we are not affected by light pollution and if you’re lucky you’ll hear our resident owls too.

Moo Cottage is a perfect location for a peaceful break where you can relax, be comfortable and feel warmly welcomed.

Shepherds hut Westleton/Minsmere, Suffolk Coast

We live just outside the pretty village of Westleton, a five minute drive to Dunwich beach and a short bike ride to the RSPB Minsmere. Southwold and Aldeburgh are also close by. The Shepherds hut has its own field, full of wild flowers and wildlife with beautiful views across the fields. On a clear night stargazing is breathtaking and most mornings the bird song will wake you! This is simple living!
