Manistee River Retreat

The Manistee River Retreat is a home located on a bluff overlooking the Manistee River. It is on a private drive. The large deck has a grille, dining table and a table and chairs by the fire pit. The deck overlooks the river valley. From the kitchen door wall is the screen porch that has a dining set for four. Inside the remodeled home is a spacious eat in kitchen and living room, two bedrooms, full bath and a mud room. Like our other Airbnb "Manistee River Cabin" it is sparkling clean.

All season beautiful and peaceful completely renovated cabin is close to hiking, biking, fishing, off road and snow mobile trails, downhill and cross-country skiing. Located close to Cadillac and Traverse City this cozy cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. A private patio and firepit (fully stocked with wood) is off the back of the cabin. A nature lover's delight, guests will find it difficult to leave this peaceful and relaxing cabin and setting on 77 acres.

Log cabin hand built by my dad in the early 70’s (my mom helped too!). Live like the Brady Bunch with authentic orange kitchen counters, with modern updates like a cozy gas stove, great knives and cookware, and high-quality linens. Private and fenced with deck and fire pit. Cabin is central to the Manistee National Forest, a short jaunt up to Sleeping Bear Dunes or Crystal Mountain, and the North Country Trail is just down the road. Ask me about fishing charters!

The Smiling Moose Lodge is perfect for your next family getaway. The house sleeps 16 in beds and has plenty of space for the whole family and then some. Centrally located between Traverse City, Crystal Mountain Ski and Golf Resort, the City of Cadillac, and Caberfae Peaks ski resort. The ORV trail for snowmobiling starts at the end of the driveway and the Manistee River is 3 minutes away where you can enjoy all of nature by canoe, kayak (4 provided) or boat.

Close access to lakes and rivers in summer, snowmobile trails, downhill and cross country skiing in winter. You’ll love my place because of the peace and quiet. Located in the Manistee National forest, directly on the snowmobile trail. 3 miles from Caberfae ski & golf, 5 miles from Lake Cadillac & Lake Mitchell, 8 miles from Pine River Canoeing. Home includes a full kitchen, fireplace, and almost everything you will need. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
