The bathroom is of a good size and has a walk-in shower and toilet

We welcome you to our home, which has views of the ocean and farmland. The guest area is located on the ground floor only. Only a 10 minute stroll into the township of Whakatane, and five minute drive to Ohope Beach, voted one of the safest surf beaches in NZ. The entrance to the famous Nga Tapuwai O Toi walking track is only 2 minutes from our home. If you are into astronomy, the Whakatane Observatory is steps away from our property, open to the public Tuesday and Friday evenings.

My place is close to beaches, bush and the famous Motu cycle way. You’ll love my place because of the friendly welcome, the little extras AND the comfy bed!! Only 2 hours driving from either Tauranga, Rotorua or Gisborne - a good resting point. Lovely quiet cottage set on lifestyle block with many chickens and sheep. 3 minutes driving to fabulous Waiotahi beach and only 10 minutes into Opotiki for cafes and shopping. Peace and tranquility - leave the city behind.

Beautiful tranquil Room in garden , ensuite, comfortable bed, Filtered water , tea , coffee. Toaster, jug, microwave, cutlery, plates etc, small Fridge. Cereal, fruit and toast +spreads . Snacks. Tranquil environment in quiet area. Gardens available with table, chairs, backdrop of tall trees. Outside bath with plenty of hot water, stars at night. We are vegetarian , no cooking of meat please, takeaways ok. No children we are not set up safely for little ones.
