The property backs onto the Kauaeranga River, a beautiful clean flowing river with an idyllic swimming hole at the end of the property. The majestic Pinnacles walking track is at the end of the road. The cottage is just 5km from the centre of Thames township; everything is nearby, including the popular Hauraki Rail Trail which is a 3.5km cycle from Bakehouse Cottage.

There is 1 cabin with bedroom ,1 cabin with kitchenette and couch and 1 cabin with toilet and shower...Private, next to bush and stream with view of the mountain..There is lots of outdoor space to relax in..with outdoor fireplace...the sound of running water..bush... close to rail trail..and bush walks, in the heart of gold mining history. lf you like peace and nature you will be happy here. Grab a bean bag and a book,sit in the bush or on the bush edge and allow nature to nurse you and relax.

Pauanui Farm - idyllic hideaway

This beautiful and private holiday home is set on a peaceful little farm surrounded by native bush with panoramic wide open views. Sit back, relax and enjoy some quiet days away in this spacious and tastefully furnished studio providing you with a fully equipped kitchen, powerful rain head shower, super comfortable bed and free unlimited wifi. Beaches, hiking tracks, waterholes, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes are very close by. The perfect base for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula.

Owharoa Hideaway

Owharoa Hideaway offers couples a self contained stay in a rural setting. A north facing aspect located above the Karangahake Gorge just a short walk/drive from the Owharoa Waterfall where the most scenic parts of the Hauraki rail-trail cycle-way can be accessed. Modern fittings are used throughout the luxurious semi-detached bathroom that is nestled amongst trees. From the cottage deck survey the Coromandel and watch tui, bellbird, kereru, kaka and more vie for your attention.

The North End Studio

The North End Studio is a purpose built studio unit, with a separate entrance along a private boardwalk. Well thought out and with some homely touches it has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2 burner induction cooktop, microwave, grill press and BBQ, perfect for self catering. The studio has extensive wrap around decking for al fresco dining, surrounded by beautiful native gardens, perfect for that relaxing afternoon drink.
