Upstairs lounge equipped with childs' toys, books and activities.. Well equipped kitchen with walk in pantry. Up to two well behaved dogs are allowed downstairs, dog sitting available. We are a short drive from both Wanganui, and Kia Iwi beach , we are surrounded by farm land, so enjoy the peace and quiet, but are close enough to enjoy the many cafes and restaurants Wanganui has to offer. Take advantage of the beautiful river, our fabulous river front Saturday markets and our many specialty shops along our gorgeous main street. We have lovely gardens here you can sit and enjoy while reading a book, the only noise is that of the birds and the odd sheep or cow. Relax and enjoy

Description Allie's HillTop Haven enjoys views of Whanganui's countryside and the sea. Complimentary continental breakfast available to all guests. Both rooms are in their own wing but the garden is available for use. While the dining room, crockery, cutlery & glasses are available for use Allie prefers for people not to cook in the kitchen. Your own private spa awaits you on the deck & is serviced daily. With a Queen bed, fully equipped kitchen, en-suite & log fire, it has everything you need for a fantastic stay. The mezzanine floor, accessed by a steep staircase, has a sofa, 42" TV , Freeview, DVD, WIFI. An extra 32" TV with Chrome-cast is downstairs.

Braemar House is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, small groups & families (the most fantastic play park for kids is just a few minutes away). We're located just across the road from the Whanganui River & 10min walk from the main shopping street Victoria Avenue. Prices are per room - additional charges for either a cooked or continental (cereal, yoghurt & fruit) breakfast. This room has a queen bed, a small hand basin and a garden view.
